Tonights Dinner

Lasagna....mmmm!!! Rick has been out flying for four days now, so I decided to make dinner. Lauren Knutsen suggested Lasagna..so thats what Im making. Along with ever so healthy garlic bread sticks with a gallon of butter.

Recipie
1 (12oz) package of over ready lasagna noodles
2 (15 oz) containers of ricotta cheese
2 cups shreaded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp basil
1 (26 oz) speghetti sauce
1 cup water
1 lb lean ground beef

1. preheat oven to 425
2. in a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs & basil, 1 cup motz cheese, 1/2 cup parm cheese. mix well.
3. in another bowl, combine speghetti sauce, 1 cup water, and the browned ground beef. mix well. (well duh..who would ever say 'mix shitty?')
4. in a 9x13 pan, spread 1 1/2 cup meat sauce. place 1/3 of the lasagna (uncooked) over sauce, spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture over noodles, top with 1/3 meat sauce/ repeat layering once. 5. top with remaining cheese.
6. wrap tightly with a double layer of foil.
7. bake for 60 min or until noodles are fork tender
8. let stand for 10 min with sealed foil

makes 9-12 servings...or in the rosinski house...makes 6-8 servings!
